Where is my data stored?

On the Free plan, receipts are stored locally on your device only. On the Lite and Professional plans, your receipts and receipt images are securely stored in Australian cloud storage, so you can recover them if you change phones. Only the receipt image is sent to the AI for classification, and only when you tap Analyse. Receipt images are never shared with third parties.

When we built the Statement Health Check, the new Pro feature where Oscar reads your statement and finds the work expenses you never captured a receipt for, we knew exactly what we were asking you to trust us with.

So here is how it was built. The first statement Oscar ever read was mine. Not a test file, not dummy data. My family's actual joint account, with the groceries and the kids' sport fees and every ordinary thing in between, because I was not going to ship a feature I would not feed my own bank statement into. And the rule we built it around is simple: SnapClaim never keeps your statement.

Your PDF is encrypted on its way to us, read once by Oscar in memory, and discarded the instant processing finishes. It is never written to a database, never saved to a server, never used to train anything. There is no copy to leak and nothing to hand over, because it does not exist. The only thing kept is Oscar's summary, the health check itself, so you can refer back to it, and even that deletes itself automatically after 90 days. Your personal spending is never flagged, never listed, never judged. Oscar surfaces what looks work-related and is professionally blind to the rest.
